Hi there! I present you my new patch : EL CAMINO. It’s a huge one, 20 cm height, full embroidery as usual. It took me a long time and a little bit of extra work but it’s finally available through Eclipse’s online store. This is a limited edition, only 50 units are available. Once they are gone, they are gone forever. I will never do a second edition of this patch.

I recently had the pleasure of working on a favourite subject of mine, sirins and harpies. David, aka Sinistral Mortimer on instagram, came from Bratislava to get this huge piece done in two days in a row. That was a true display of strenght and commitment and will always have my admiration and respect.
A million thanks again David for your blind trust in my work and ways.
I also had the privilege of tattooing two old clients of mine in very interesting subjects such as time machines and storm warriors. I feel lucky as hell! Daniel, and Jonathan from El Verbo Studio , thank you very much again and again. Being able to go deeper on these subjects is something I really want to try.
To end this post and stage of the year, I’m going to show you my first collaboration with my good friend and co-founder partner at Eclipse Tattoo Barcelona El Carlo. We were asked several months ago by Juanito Sin Alma to draw something of our own in a combined piece. It was fluid, funny and really great to work on that creature from the abyss:

Bajo este lema latino para designar lo inexplorado y peligroso en los mapas de navegaciĂłn y la reflexiĂłn de Mircea Eliade en su obra clásica por excelencia, he iniciado una serie de ilustraciones para adentrarme en el mito del dragĂłn. Como un salto al vacĂo, tanto fĂsico como intelectual, han sido realizadas sin boceto previo de ningĂşn tipo. Con la plumilla, directamente sobre el papel, he dejado fluir una serie de imágenes descompuestas que cobraban relevancia para su propia composiciĂłn a medida que avanzaba. Sin reglas y tan solo manteniendo esta forma circular, de momento. En breve espero poder presentar unos cuantos dragones más e ir explorando otros formatos y tamaños.

This past summer I had the chance of tattooing a pair of gentleman coming from England and the U.S.A and both asked for my beloved storm warriors. So thanks Adam and Javier for your trust in this particular subject of heavy birds. It’s been a pleasure.
I also had the chance of taking a closer look to one of my favourite tattoos from 2021. This one is on Jonatan and we will continue his leg very soon!

I have new patches available and also a reedition of the realm patch. It’s always fun to work on this little pieces of merch. As usual, I love to make them in a full embroidery technique. They are rough and not perfect, as real patches should be. Expect little variations from one to another! Life and Death patches are sold in pairs, and I ‘ve worked a little bit on the packaging. Only 50 pairs available. Make sure you add them to bigger orders if you want to save some money on the shipping costs and don’t forget to keep posted for more news!

So! Once again, I’ll be back in Brussels for the international tattoo convention. My first tattoo show after Covid times and lockdowns. As usual, I’ll share my time and space with my friends and coworkers of Eclipse Tattoo Barcelona in a big team booth. We’ll try to bring our best merch as we do in every convention. Small and medium size tattoos are a good choice for a convention as I will not engage in full day pieces as in previous editions.

This is the artwork I’ve been comissioned to do for the new studio of the italian tattoo master and commander Rino Valente. Long Live Tattooing will open it’s doors this week in San Casciano, Chianti (Italy). I encourage everybody to follow Rino’s work in full, he’s a true craftsman whose abilities don’t end in tattooing at all. A genius figure I’ve been glad to know in person for years and trusted my projects on leather since long ago.
Once again, my Molotows pens and a Din A3 Saunders Waterford paper have been my weapons of choice. For this kind of projects, that take long and need an extreme clean outcome, this combination it’s far better than other traditional inking options. Love the quill and ink but I guess I’m not that skilled! I feel really lucky to have the chance of working in illustrative works like this one, so if you have a project proposal for me, don’t doubt to let me know through my email : david@davidtejero.com.
