Mircea Eliade, Lo sagrado y lo profano.
Bajo este lema latino para designar lo inexplorado y peligroso en los mapas de navegaciĂłn y la reflexiĂłn de Mircea Eliade en su obra clásica por excelencia, he iniciado una serie de ilustraciones para adentrarme en el mito del dragĂłn. Como un salto al vacĂo, tanto fĂsico como intelectual, han sido realizadas sin boceto previo de ningĂşn tipo. Con la plumilla, directamente sobre el papel, he dejado fluir una serie de imágenes descompuestas que cobraban relevancia para su propia composiciĂłn a medida que avanzaba. Sin reglas y tan solo manteniendo esta forma circular, de momento. En breve espero poder presentar unos cuantos dragones más e ir explorando otros formatos y tamaños.

This past summer I had the chance of tattooing a pair of gentleman coming from England and the U.S.A and both asked for my beloved storm warriors. So thanks Adam and Javier for your trust in this particular subject of heavy birds. It’s been a pleasure.
I also had the chance of taking a closer look to one of my favourite tattoos from 2021. This one is on Jonatan and we will continue his leg very soon!

I have new patches available and also a reedition of the realm patch. It’s always fun to work on this little pieces of merch. As usual, I love to make them in a full embroidery technique. They are rough and not perfect, as real patches should be. Expect little variations from one to another! Life and Death patches are sold in pairs, and I ‘ve worked a little bit on the packaging. Only 50 pairs available. Make sure you add them to bigger orders if you want to save some money on the shipping costs and don’t forget to keep posted for more news!

So! Once again, I’ll be back in Brussels for the international tattoo convention. My first tattoo show after Covid times and lockdowns. As usual, I’ll share my time and space with my friends and coworkers of Eclipse Tattoo Barcelona in a big team booth. We’ll try to bring our best merch as we do in every convention. All ideas are welcome but I will give priority to those clients that want to get tattooed some of my available designs. Small and medium size tattoos are a good choice for a convention as I will not engage in full day pieces as in previous editions.

First and never last but always, yes…the first selection of 2022 tattoos. I’m really happy to have the chance of working on these three subjects. They are really interesting and I know that, specially for the strange animals and machines, a huge amount of trust is required from my clients. So again, thank you very much for stepping forward. All these tattoos were done between Eclipse Tattoo Barcelona and Cobra Tattoo Madrid. This is my first collaboration with Silvia Ballerini a.k.ain.ambers doing these amazing handmade skull patches! If you follow her on instagram you’ll have a chance to see her dark talent in action. I really hope you like this limited series, each one is a unique piece itself. I’ve done many industrial patches in the past but this is the first time going handmade and I’m glad with this rough feeling you get. Don’t loose your opportunity to get your hands on them. I’m sure more editions of different patches with Silvia will come in the future but for the moment, those are the only ones available! And remember that devil has pills in his eyes and you don’t really have a patch if you don’t have a skull patch. Now you know.

A little selection of my favorite works from some months ago til now. I have some ongoing large projects and some new medusae ideas that I would like to test as soon as possible.
