Time machines, time animals, birds

First and never last but always, yes…the first selection of 2022 tattoos. I’m really happy to have the chance of working on these three subjects. They are really interesting and I know that, specially for the strange animals and machines, a huge amount of trust is required from my clients. So again, thank you very much for stepping forward. All these tattoos were done between Eclipse Tattoo Barcelona and Cobra Tattoo Madrid.
This year, as things seems to be back on track, I’ll try to travel a little bit more to old and new places as well. Right now, two destinations are confirmed:

The end of this crazy intense year marks the begining of some new stuff I’m working on. But! Do not forget the classics!! Goats and harpies are forever.

My special thanks in this post goes to Jose. His commitment and energy coming from so far to get this giant goat tattooed have been inspiring. I’m really happy with the result as it’s always a challenge to work this big. Also was really great to have a good understanding between us since minute one. He’s a fine tattoo collector and his body is filled already with some serious stuff. From tattooer to tattooer, hope you meet him in the future!

The rest of this fine pieces were done at Cobra Tattoos Madrid and Eclipse Tattoo Barcelona, my home. As you know, birds and harpies are always more than welcome! But in this crazy and uncertain times I’m trying to develop a new batch of work…time animals and time machines!

You’ll find some examples of them in my available designs section. This pair are the first time animals I’ve had the pleasure of tattooing.

I really can not wait to expand this line of work and create more for those interested in them. Don’t doubt in getting in touch!
As I’m mostly sure, this will be probably the last post of the year. So I wish you the best for the next one. I’ll be on the road again as soon as possible, hopefully doing some conventions in Europe in 2022. Who knows?!

Birds and Monsters

Hi there! It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been working on some new large pieces like this one. This harpy on Franki Tattoo is finally done and waiting for the final photo shooting. In the pictures above, some parts are already healed. I’m very pleased with the result and happy to explore this kind of theme/sized tattoos. Don’t hesitate to hit me up if you are interested in some!

Another ongoing project is this big owl for Filip, one of the two heads behind deadflag studios. It’s a challenging one, trust me! I’m enjoying the process very much and learning a lot. Hopefully, will be finished in one more sitting.

And finally, a one shot tattoo on Juanito Sinalma right above the harpy I tattooed on him some months ago. I really like to work on this kind of abyssal monsters too. Don’t mind if they don’t have feathers!

One heart, two sisters

This month has begun with a pair of tattoos that I really appreciate. First, I had the chance of tattooing Azzurra’s left arm with another black swan and we are both really happy with the result. If it’s a bird, and it’s black…I want to do it! Thanks again, you are the best.

The other one is on Pablo’s ribs. I’m really proud of having done this meaningful tattoo on my friend and coworker at Eclipse. I really enjoy tattooing sacred hearts. If you are interested in one, I have many of them ready to go in my black book of prepared designs. Don’t doubt to ask about them.

Last and next and always

2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and things are not easy in Barcelona right now. Tattooers and studios are struggling to get enough work to carry on and keep on offering the best of our production. Nevertheless, here we are! This is my last tattoo of the year at Eclipse and I’m hoping to start 2021 in a better way than 2020 is ending. I want to give thanks to all my clients in this year, I know it hasn’t been easy to come and get tattooed in some cases. I really wish you all the best for whatever it’s to come! As soon as I can, I will start to organize my travel agenda again and post the touring dates here.
I would also like to show you my tattoo proposals through my new section available designs. This a selection of some brand new drawings I would really love to tattoo from january on.

October tattoos

Well!! This month has been really challenging for tattooers around and specially in Barcelona. We’ve been in a lockdown since mid October… Anyway! We’ll keep on doing what we can to go on and follow our ideas and hearts. As usual, FTG & TCB.
This is a selection of many small tattoos I’ve done recently. I want to give special thanks once again to Gisselle for trusting me and letting me finish her forearm, surrounded by pieces from the great Tim Beijsens. Also Alex, Johanna and fucking Max a.k.a fucking Tupamax tattoo…a fine individual! You made my month!

And as a preview of my favourite work from this last month, here’s a shot of the healing process of this huge bird on Carlos.

Due to Covid restrictions and the situation in Barcelona, it will be a little difficult to have better pictures of this one any soon. I just wanted to show it before the year ends! I promise a full photo shooting with extra drawings on the process.

New designs

Hi there, it’s been a little since my last post. I’m back at work as usual, and after a completely different summer, new and old designs are ready to go. I’m gonna publish a sneak peek of them here before on any other media. So if you keep on following my site, you’ll have a chance to see them first. I would really like to start working on larger pieces again as before the lockdown, so my most recent drawings are ready to be tattooed on A3 size or bigger. Always ready to adapt and redesign in order to better fit your chosen body area. As I like to think, these are drafts for a much more personalized project that will end up on your skin. If any of them pleases you, there’s only one way to see them and it’s live. Write me first to check availability and come to the studio to spend as many time as you wish with the book in your hands. Easy right?

And of course, I’m also willing to tattoo some of my old small or medium sized designs. As I said, don’t hesitate to ask and come to see them live if you have the chance.

The Rooster

Finally, one of my favourite projects it’s finished. This picture has been taken right after the last working session, so black must wait some months to settle and expand. This kind of tattoos are a real challenge so…I’m really happy to see the final result and learn good lessons to improve my approach to the next backpiece project. Don’t doubt to reach me if you have in mind some ideas that need this kind of large scale execution. I’ll be glad to work on them as much as in those medium size ones.

July is ending and I’m already booking some works for August. I know Barcelona is extremely hot in summer but if you dare, don’t doubt to visit us at Eclipse Tattoo Thanks again for visiting my blog and keeping and eye on my work.
