Brussels Tattoo Convention 2022

So! Once again, I’ll be back in Brussels for the international tattoo convention. My first tattoo show after Covid times and lockdowns. As usual, I’ll share my time and space with my friends and coworkers of Eclipse Tattoo Barcelona in a big team booth. We’ll try to bring our best merch as we do in every convention. Keep posted for more news about it!
Bookings are open. If you want to get tattooed, please write me here: david@davidtejero.com . All ideas are welcome but I will give priority to those clients that want to get tattooed some of my available designs. Small and medium size tattoos are a good choice for a convention as I will not engage in full day pieces as in previous editions.

La Cobra Bar

Y con esta ya van tres cobras en mi maleta. Hace unos meses me propusieron diseñar la nueva camiseta de La Cobra Bar Barcelona y este es el resultado que por fin se puede mostrar después de unos cuantos retrasos debido a las restricciones del ocio nocturno. Por lo que parece, esto es solo el inicio de una serie de colaboraciones que periódicamente se irán realizando con artistas locales. La Cobra cuenta ya con una buena tradición de eventos en su local dedicados a promover la cultura urbana de Barcelona a través de exposiciones, performances y música en directo. Estoy super agradecido a Milenko y Ricardo, dueños del bar, por confiar en mí para este pequeño proyecto lleno de buenas energías. Se nota que son ellos mismos, junto con Ona Salvador, quienes atienden la barra durante toda la semana de 19:00 a 01:00. Este tipo de locales son los que valen la pena sin lugar a dudas.

¿Cómo hacerte con una de las camisetas? Pues como todas las verdaderas cosas buenas de la vida y la ciudad, en directo mejor. Solo se pueden conseguir pasando directamente por el bar. La edición es limitada así que no tardéis en visitar La Cobra y tomaros algo. Por último, si os interesa estar al tanto de su agenda cultural y de eventos, la mejor forma es seguirlos en instagram. Seguidles, visitadles y apoyadles!

Hola a todos!

A partir de ahora voy a intentar trabajar en Madrid con la máxima regularidad posible y siempre con mis amigos de Cobra Tattoo. Después de mis visitas en Noviembre y Febrero, vuelvo en Marzo con un montón de ganas los días 17, 18 y 19. Mi agenda siempre está abierta y tan solo has de escribirme a david@davidtejero.com si te interesa tatuarte conmigo.
Por motivos de tiempo y disponibilidad doy prioridad siempre a tatuajes que pueda terminar en una sola sesión, ya sean proyectos custom o diseños ya preparados de mi libreta negra. Igualmente, si tienes ganas de iniciar algo más grande o complejo, no dudes en consultarme y lo hablamos sin problemas.

Hola de nuevo!

En los próximos meses voy a salir de Barcelona para tatuar en algunos puntos de España. Estoy cogiendo citas y contestando mails desde ya mismo. Doy prioridad a ideas que ya tenga prediseñadas en mi libreta, de tamaño pequeño o medio. Para proyectos grandes, de más de una sesión, prefiero que nos veamos antes en persona para hablarlo y coger medidas de la zona a tatuar.

Harpy II and a deep drawer

This is one of my favourite starters for this year 2021. I’m grateful for having the chance of tattooing this kind of ideas. Harpies and detailed birds are very interesting and the way they fit in our bodies is always challenging. I have drawn some of them in advanced, so don’t doubt to check out my available designs and contact me if you are interested. Your ideas and references about this particular subject are always welcomed too.
I also have some good news about three little pieces I’ve just recovered from the depths of my studio drawer. One print with a tiny mistake, an artist proof and a little original. All of them are two or more years old. Don’t doubt to check out my section at Eclipse’s online store to find out more. Remember, there is only one copy left for the prints. It’s now or never.

Book of drawings second edition

Last December the first edition of my book of drawings was sold out. Here comes the second one. It is available now through eclipse’s online store, at the studio and also through Okulus Bookshop. I’m signing and doing fast sketches on the first ten copies too. First orders will come with little extras! I’m really happy for the outcome of this project and how it’s been received. Don’t doubt to get your copy now if you weren’t able to do it in the past months. A third edition might never come, who knows?

Esta semana en Eclipse tomamos la iniciativa y abrimos puertas de nuevo por unas pocas horas para seguir dando lo mejor que tenemos. Ya van demasiadas semanas con el espacio cerrado y necesitamos airear energías y tener algo de contacto con nuestros clientes de Barcelona que, al igual que los de fuera, nos han apoyado a muerte desde que la pandemia empezó. Queremos dar prioridad a nuestra gente y su cercanía y por eso celebramos en sábado esta pequeña apertura con el fin de vender una selección de nuestro merch y obra original a precios rebajados. Tendremos el aforo limitado y el acceso controlado debido a las medidas covid, pero el estudio, como siempre, será un lugar seguro. Esperamos veros a todos los interesados por allí, es una buena ocasión para adelantar compras navideñas sin usar internet y con la seguridad que puedes llevarte piezas únicas o merch de muchísima calidad. Wisdom, Power and Faith

Small, rough and not perfect. The first pieces of merch I design since lockdown is over in Barcelona. 2020 it’s by far one of the most interesting years of our lives right? I’ll keep on doing things I really enjoy and making patches is one of them.
They are now for sale through Eclipse’s online store. Just click the picture and access the site. Buy them all three or by separate, as you wish. This time are embroidered on twill to give them an extra flexibility to adapt to any surface or fabric. There’s only 50 units of each model, so don’t be late to get them if you are interested!
Once again, news on merch, tattoos and travels always come first through this site. So if you want to be first and not last, subscribe to my mailing list. I really appreciate when you take your time to keep posted to my work in such a more relaxed way.

New designs

Hi there, it’s been a little since my last post. I’m back at work as usual, and after a completely different summer, new and old designs are ready to go. I’m gonna publish a sneak peek of them here before on any other media. So if you keep on following my site, you’ll have a chance to see them first. I would really like to start working on larger pieces again as before the lockdown, so my most recent drawings are ready to be tattooed on A3 size or bigger. Always ready to adapt and redesign in order to better fit your chosen body area. As I like to think, these are drafts for a much more personalized project that will end up on your skin. If any of them pleases you, there’s only one way to see them and it’s live. Write me first to check availability and come to the studio to spend as many time as you wish with the book in your hands. Easy right?

And of course, I’m also willing to tattoo some of my old small or medium sized designs. As I said, don’t hesitate to ask and come to see them live if you have the chance.
